April 5 2008 ... Loretta
Qualifiers
First, I would like to
thank all of our friends, sponsors, supporters and family
that help us to continue to be successful in this tough
business.
4-5-08
Cameron continues to do
very well in the “A” classes this week at the Comp Edge
“DOUBLE POINTS” Loretta Qualifiers. Cameron started
strong on Saturday with a tenth place finish in moto one of
the Motocross A class. Things just got better and better in
moto two as Cameron got around the corner second, right
behind Trent Puhgmeyer. Cameron ended up fifth for an over
all finish of EIGHTH. Not too bad considering the class had
over 35 entries and read like a who’s who!!
4-6-08
Sunday started out with
a thirty seven rider MX Lites “Pro Sport” class. Cameron
shocked all of us with a second place start and a quick pass
in the third turn that put him in the lead. Cameron led the
entire seven laps and was passed only by Hunter Hewitt half
way through the last lap. Cameron was riding the two stroke
250. As we have been told many times….. some guys can ride
two strokes and some can’t!! Moto two wasn’t quite as
exciting. Cameron got pushed off the track in the start but
still managed to finish ninth for an over all of SIXTH!
Sunday brought another
huge gate for the Motocross “Pro Sport” class. Another
strong start by Cameron gave him a fifth and an even better
fourth in the second moto. Cameron’s consistency paid off
with an overall of SECOND PLACE. Cameron’s finishes this
week give him the points he needs to apply for his AMA Pro
Motocross License with the Supercoss endorsement!! Cameron
is riding relaxed and confident. His speed and poise has
increased and we hope for even more success in the future.
We will be at the World
Mini here in our home town next week. Cameron is looking
forward to a “fun” race. We will be riding both stock and
mod 250 and 450 classes on bone stock bikes as usual!
Thanks again for your
continued help and support.
Mike Rodriguez,
Cameron’s Dad and biggest fan!
